Listen To Chernobyl Story From HBO On Podcast

HBO’s Chernobyl series has hit global awareness for the tragic event that took place in 1986 at the No. 4 nuclear reactor in the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant.

The plant is located just outside Pripyat, a city in the north of the Ukrainian SSR and since the shows release there has been an increase in tourism to the location. The harrowing story of the incident highlights one of only two nuclear energy disasters rated as INES 7, which is the maximum severity classification.

If you haven’t had time to watch the series, or don’t have access to HBO, you can give their official podcast a listen now. It’s a mix of interviews and storytelling in an adaptive version made for those just wanting to listen along. Perfect for those long summer drives or your morning commute
