Logic & C Dot Castro Launch Collaborative Project halfBREED with ‘3P’ EP

Logic & C Dot Castro debut their collaborative group halfBREED today with a three-track EP. The tracks merge the artists lines and production styles to create three solid records. Logic and C Dot Castro have been friends for years, linking up on music as recently as Logic’s last album College Park.

Logic recently went viral after delivering a cover of Ice Cube’s iconic song ‘“’It Was a Good Day’, with the rapper facing backlash from some. Because of that, Logic addressed the backlash online, saying, “Who gives a f**k?” Before that, the rapper was criticized for saying “n***a” in his music despite being half-Black and half-white. It’s unclear whether this recent news is linked with he naming of his new project.

Logic just dropped the College Park studio LP on February 24. College Park peaked at No. 21 on the Billboard 200 chart. Previously, Logic topped the Billboard 200 with 2017’s Everybody, 2018’s Bobby Tarantino II, and 2019’s Confessions of a Dangerous Mind.
