The ultimate dance collaboration is here, Afrojack, Martin Garrix, David Guetta and Amél have come together for a powerhouse progressive house effort that takes us back to the golden age of melodic progressive house.
‘Our Time’ is a massive opportunity for Colardo based Amél – who has is a relative newcomer, especially when compared with his fellow artists on this track.
Releasing on Spinnin’ Records is quite interesting, largely due to Martin Garrix’s infamous past with the label. AFROJACK is signed there, which being the head artist likely makes it an option on his agreement. Martin Garrix had a sour break with Spinnin’ back in the day, following their management and record label agreements being taken to court. It is nice to see both artists seem to be back in the good books.
“I’m incredibly proud to be part of this project and to have our lives intertwined the way they are. This release brings together four generations – it’s a story that represents all of us, from where we started to where we are now. This is our time,” says Afrojack.
‘Our Time’ is a vibrant, vocal filled anthem that fits perfectly under the four names attached. Having being played at several festivals around the world so far, this one has the potential to be a stand out among the scene.
Martin Garrix reflects: “I’m really grateful the four of us came together for this track, it’s a perfect example of what a great collaboration can be. I love how it all evolved, from the original demo and chord changes to the final result. I’m truly proud of what we’ve created.”
