Staying true to their signature sound, UK duo Jonnie Macaire & Harry Bass (aka Third Party) are credited with the current resurgence in the progressive house movement. Bringing the ‘golden era’ full-circle, thanks to their huge anthemic hits and numerous IDs, (including their forthcoming David Guetta & John Martin collaboration), Third Party have racked up a huge fanbase via MainStage sets at the likes of Creamfields, and Tomorrowland. With over 130 million global streams across their first two studio albums, Third Party have chalked up an enormous back-catalogue, which includes the spacious Prydz-style synths of ‘Midnight‘, and Steve Angello collab ‘Lights‘. But ahead of their headline London show in HERE at OUTERNET on 20th September, we take a look at their greatest records ever produced…
These, are the Top 10 Third Party tracks of all time [RANKED]…

10. THEE CHORDS (FEEL SO HIGH)
First teased as a unique edit which also layered in the iconic vocal of Daft Punk‘s ‘Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger’, this much-loved production finally saw the light of day in 2023, via Martin Garrix‘s STMPD RCRDS label. Packed with the unique energy Third Party fans have come to expect, this one is a true masterclass in chord progression, (hence the track’s title).
9. REMEMBER
A massive progressive anthem from the duo’s 2019 ‘TOGETHER‘ album, ‘Remember’ entwines an emotive vocal with that classic progressive house twist on the drop. Blessing the track with a big build and euphoric breakdown, few productions can rival the singalong joy of ‘Remember’ in a live setting.
8. TAKE ME AWAY
Released in the midst of COVID, ‘Take Me Away’ showcases Third Party‘s songwriting abilities, with their unique touch for capturing emotion in the perfect moment. Written whilst staying in a log cabin through the pandemic, the song encapsulates that feel of taking yourself away from the grind to connect with your thoughts in the surrounding of nature. A fantastic, and arguably under-rated, selection.
7. FREE
Sampling Rozalla‘s 1991 hit ‘Everybody’s Free’, Third Party‘s 2018 reimagining has rapidly grown into one of the most iconic prog-house anthems of modern times. Aired by various DJs, including NERVO on the Tomorrowland MainStage, this festival weapon is now often mashed with Coldplay‘s ‘Fix You‘ for an emotive twist during the pair’s live shows.
6. LIONS IN THE WILD
The first, but certainly not last, Garrix collab on this list, ‘Lions in the Wild’ remains one of Third Party‘s most successful productions to date, racking up over 60 million Spotify streams since release in 2016. Packed with that signature hook and Max McElligott‘s vocals, this one is safely categorised under ‘Timeless’.
5. NATION (RISE AGAIN)
A true fan’s favourite, ‘Nation’ was launched on Steve Angello‘s ‘SIZE‘ label in 2015, and has remained a staple part of Third Party‘s DJ sets to the modern day. Much loved by the pair’s ‘Release Family’ fanbase, ‘Nation‘ has made regular appearances during their ‘LIIIVE’ and ‘Party People’ shows.
4. KEEP ON LOVING YOU
A huge summer 2023 anthem which showcases the typically euphoric nature of Third Party‘s high-energy style, ‘Keep On Loving You’ is one of the most iconic melodies ever produced by the pair, and has regularly been mixed with John Summit & Hayla‘s ‘Where You Are’ during live performances.
3. CARRY YOU
Name a more popular melody in the past decade. Not since the days of Alesso & Sebastian Ingrosso‘s ‘Calling’ have thousands of ravers stood united and bellowed back a chorus of ‘duh duh duh’ echoes. Released in 2024, this Martin Garrix team-up has already earned more than 30 million Spotify streams to date.
2. LIVE FOREVER
Some tracks just hit different. No matter how many times you bellow out the lyrics of this one, misty eyes are a-plenty, such is the incredible craftsmanship of Harry & Jonnie‘s production ability and songwriting skills. Reminding us all that whilst our experiences here on Earth are temporary, our memories are eternal, this track is a perfect encapsulation of what dance music stands for.
1. EVERYDAY OF MY LIFE
And of course…. The jewel in the Third Party crown. ‘Everyday Of My Life’ is, to TP fans, what ‘Levels’ or ‘Don’t You Worry Child’ are to followers of Avicii and Swedish House Mafia. Some tracks don’t even need the addition of words, so instead, why not sit back and listen to this piece of art, below…
With just a few days remaining until Third Party take to the stage for their ‘Party People’ concept at London‘s revolutionary venue, HERE at OUTERNET, tickets for this unmissable event are now running low, but luckily you can grab yours here. Bringing an array of special guests with them, including Mark Roma, Corey James, and Dubvision, Saturday 20th September promises to be one of the most eagerly anticipated nights of the year for fans of progressive house.
