Shadow of the Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition Secures Physical Release on Nintendo Switch 2
Limited Run Games and developer Aspyr have announced a partnership to bring a physical edition of Shadow of the Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition to the Nintendo Switch 2. Fans and collectors can pre-order both Standard and Collector’s Editions exclusively through Limited Run Games beginning on November 6, 2026.
Serving as the award-winning final chapter of the Survivor Trilogy, Shadow of the Tomb Raider takes players on a harrowing action-adventure to stop a Mayan apocalypse. Players will explore exotic locations, including the legendary Incan city of Paititi, while braving unforgiving jungles and deadly tombs. The game requires players to use advanced stealth techniques and an arsenal of weapons to stop the shadowy organisation Trinity from stealing the power of an ancient god before it is too late.
This Definitive Edition packages the complete experience. It includes the base game, all seven DLC challenge tombs, and all downloadable side missions, weapons, outfits, and skills. The Standard Edition also features a free slipcover that allows fans to keep their Tomb Raider trilogy together in one place. This slipcover is designed to hold Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition, Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration, and Shadow of the Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition.
