Sonny Fodera Is At His Best With New Album ‘Wide Awake’

After fans were treated to a slew of singles from the package, Sonny Fodera’s latest album arrived in the form of Wide Awake. The album includes recent successes such as ‘One Night’, ‘Turn Back Time’ and ‘Wired’ – which kick off the album with more than 100 million streams.

While a lot of the singles follow the same pattern of strong vocal with a punchy and soulful house production, there is no denying that recipe works tremendously. There are not a lot of stand outs in the album because all of the songs are brilliant.

It’s not just Fodera who should be praised for Wide Awake, the talent is overflowing on the project. From Sinead Hardett who contributes to two records to the talented Sam Tompkins to producers MK, Vintage Culture – the external benefits are clear.

The new album also drops in the midst of Sonny’s sold-out UK and US tour, where the new project will come to life. This summer saw him sell 14,000 tickets at his Back To Love co-headline festival with Gorgon City in London, with more sold out shows at the likes of Liverpool’s Bramley Moore Dock, Manchester’s Victoria Warehouse and London’s Printworks to come.
