Ultra Music Festival 2025: Acts That You Can’t Miss

10. Patrick Topping

In his first Ultra appearance since 2018, Patrick Topping will be featured in the RESISTANCE area, renowned for its focus on techno and house music. Patrick Topping is known for high-energy sets, blending deep, groovy house and techno. His ability to create an infectious vibe on the dance floor is one of the key reasons why fans flock to see him live. If you’re into sets that will keep you glued to the dance floor, his sets are an absolute must-see.

9. Odd Mob

Odd Mob is a rising star in dance music and his Ultra debut should be on everyone’ radar. Odd Mob brings a bass heavy approach to tech-house and pairs that with catchy melodies. His remix of John Summit’s ‘palm of my hands’ made waves around the dance music scene. The remix has become a staple at many artists’ sets since its release. Odd Mob’s signature sound paired with Ultra’s production makes his set one that you can’t miss.

8. Carl Cox

Carl Cox is set to debut his new live show, “Evolution,” at Ultra this March. This performance will be part of the inaugural “Carl Cox Invites” stage takeover at the RESISTANCE MegaStructure, featuring live sets from artists such as Adam Beyer, Richie Hawtin’s DEX EFX X0X, Stephan Bodzin, Joris Voorn, Dubfire’s EVOLV, Marc Romboy, and a live b2b set by Carl Cox and Christopher Coe. Carl Cox has been an Ultra staple since 2001 and this new live show should be on everyone’s radar.

7. Charlotte De Witte

Charlotte De Witte is a leader in the techno scene and will headline the RESISTANCE stage, renowned for its focus on techno and underground music. Charlotte De Witte is the perfect fit for a festival like Ultra, and more specifically on the RESISTANCE stage. She is continuing to break barriers as a female DJ in a predominantly male-dominated genre.

6. Mau P

Mau P never fails to bring a party to any of his sets, and his Ultra set should exceed expectations. Last year, Mau P made two very noticeable appearances at Miami Music Week. The first was an open to close set at Floyd where he kept the crowd dancing for almost 7 hours. The second was a headlining Elrow slot at Factory Town’s closing party. No matter the setting, Mau P’s sets are a guaranteed good time and shouldn’t be skipped over at Ultra.

5. Skrillex

Skrillex last headlined Ultra in 2015, and his return to the festival after 10 years should be packed with surprises. Skrillex is a pioneer in the world of dubstep and bass music, and his influence on electronic music is undeniable. Even if bass music isn’t your speed, Skrillex knows how to play to all crowds and his performances are never anything short of entertaining.

4. Boris Brejcha

Boris Brejcha’s style is one of the most unique and innovative styles on this list. If you’re looking for an experience that goes beyond music, this set is for you. Boris Brejcha is known for having immersive sets, with intense visuals that place you into his world and keep you engaged from start to finish. This unique experience paired with the production quality behind the RESISTANCE stages make Boris Brejcha one of the most anticipated acts of the entire festival.

3. Anyma B2B Solomun

This announcement came as a surprise to the dance music world as no one was expecting Anyma to go B2B with Solomun, especially at Ultra. There’s lots of hype surrounding this set as no one really knows what to expect. Anyma and Solomun are individually powerhouses in the scene, but their sounds are different from one another. Anyma brings a cinematic approach to melodic techno, with stunning visuals that make his sets immersive experiences. Solomun specializes in deep house and tech-house, known for keeping his crowds dancing for hours on end. This set is going to be groundbreaking and should be a must see for everyone.

2. Everything Always

For the first time, Dom Dolla and John Summit are bringing their Everything Always collaboration to the Ultra MainStage. The duo only plays together a few times a year, with appearances in 2024 at Coachella and The Gorge Amphitheatre. Both artists are in their primes, and Everything Always never fails to exceed expectations. In what could be one of the only opportunities to see Dom Dolla and John Summit play together in 2025, you won’t want to miss this set.

1. Gesaffelstein

Topping my list of must see acts at Ultra Miami is the “Dark Prince” of techno, Gesaffelstein. The French producer had a massive comeback in 2024, releasing his new album ‘Gamma’ and touring all over the US. Gesaffelstein has worked with artists like The Weeknd, Daft Punk, and A$AP Rocky over the years and his live performances are true art. Set to play at Ultra’s Live Stage, Gesaffelstein is certain to pull out all of the stops. If you’re looking for an act that stands out from the more “mainstream” acts, then this is the set for you. The combination of his signature dark sound, hypnotic energy, and incredible stage presence will provide an unforgettable experience. This is the must see set at Ultra Miami this year.
