Blasterjaxx And Olly James Drop Powerful Anthem, ‘Life Is Music’

Any avid bigroom house fan will rattle off both these names in their lists of the most prolific producers in the game. Blasterjaxx are fresh off an album staying almost exclusively within the genre of 128 BPM, focusing on their energetic and bigroom sound in a subtle variation of melodic and raw. Olly James has been likewise consistent in his releases, and this team up marks the second collaboration between these two high-profile names. The result is a true anthem, both in the name and the sound design, repeating a meaningful, three-word vocal sample before a massive, energetic drop.

Although ‘Life Is Music’ follows quite a standard arrangement, its stunning sound design and raving vocal sample make it the hit that it is. An older, 2017-esque Blasterjaxx comes out in this one, with a white noise-filled lead straight from tunes from the XX Files EP. The bass running through the entire track is somewhat reminiscent of the old Hardwell sound, although the mix is much denser – much like an old Blasterjaxx tune.
