Call of Duty 2019 Officially Revealed as ‘Modern Warfare’ [Trailer]

After some leaks yesterday as well as the name being known for months, it’s now official; the 2019 iteration of Call of Duty will be known as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.

It will be a soft reboot of the fan favourite Modern Warfare series, with the trailer including Price who is a key member in the series.

What is confusing is the name. In the past, there was Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, then of course Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. Now there will be Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. I’m sure Activition thought this over but there’s still definitely potential for confusion.

What is definitely a significant deal is what looks to be the end of console exclusivity, previous Xbox has DLC a month before PS4 and PC and for the past few years PS4 had the privilege. In this day and age it shouldn’t exist, thankfully Activition see that. Speaking about DLC, it’s said to be free DLC this year – which is another positive contribution to this years title.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Releases October 25th 2019.
