Origins Inconclusive Partner with DiscoverNü (DNÜ), Marking a New Chapter for UK Emerging Artist Culture

Independent label Origins Inconclusive has partnered with DiscoverNü (DNÜ), one of the UK’s most trusted discovery platforms for alternative, electronic, indie, rock and alt-pop talent. Headquartered at 1 Pancras Square, London.

Georges Kande will continue as Editorial Advisor, ensuring the platform’s distinctive voice and early-discovery ethos remain central as DNÜ enters its next phase.

On September 28th 2025, DNÜ publicly announced that the platform would be closing after nearly a decade of championing emerging talent. The announcement generated more than 130 comments from artists and fans, many expressing gratitude for DNÜ’s role in their early development – and disappointment at the loss of a culturally trusted discovery space.

This overwhelming community response played a major role in the decision to bring DNÜ back with renewed support, ensuring its editorial voice, platform integrity and artist-first mission not only survive, but grow.

Cadyn Lewis, 20 year old founder of Origins Inconclusive and now Executive Director of DNÜ, says:

“DNÜ has shaped early discovery in the UK for years. It has always supported artists long before the spotlight arrives. Our aim now is to honour that legacy and give it the scale, stability and vision to grow with the next generation of talent.

As an artist myself – with past signings to Island and EMI under KDYN – I understand how fragile early development can be. DNÜ and Origins Inconclusive together allow us to build something that genuinely supports artists where it matters most.”

A Strengthened DNÜ for the Next Wave

DNÜ will relaunch with a sharpened focus across:

  • Editorial and premières
  • Digital content: interviews, performance clips and culture reporting
  • DNÜ Radio (2025): a weekly radio/livestream series
  • Live events including DNÜ Revival Night and curated club shows
  • A refined playlist and submissions network supporting alternative and emerging music

DNÜ’s purpose remains simple:
to champion new artists with clarity, credibility and cultural care.

Why This Partnership Matters

Across the UK, early-stage artist development has become increasingly fragmented. DNÜ’s integration into Origins brings editorial, community and recorded music into a single, aligned ecosystem – offering a rare level of continuity for new artists entering the industry.

Over nearly a decade, DNÜ has become a trusted early touchpoint for independent music communities, consistently spotlighting artists before they enter the wider conversation.

The combined structure allows DNÜ to scale its editorial and cultural impact while preserving the independence that made it influential.

About Origins Inconclusive

Founded in 2023 by Cadyn Jay Lewis (KDYN) at age 18, Origins Inconclusive has quickly become one of the UK’s most active emerging-artist development labels. Origins operates as a hybrid between a creative studio and a modern label, with a long-term, artist-first approach rooted in creative autonomy and transparency .
