Paris Blohm & Wasback Return With New Single ‘They Say’

‘They Say’ sees the return of two of the best progressive house producers over the past few years. With Paris Blohm (who celebrated his 30th birthday yesterday) being quiet on the release front, with just one release in 2019 and Wasback not releasing a track so far this year – this release marks their awaited return.

That return brings a different sound as the pair delve into a more darker and deeper sound. In the case of ‘They Say’, the silky female vocals from Krigarè are quickly laid over a fast-paced drum pattern that instantly catches your attention. The ominous synths punctuate while creating an irresistible rhythm underneath strong lyrics.

On the return and overall release, Paris stated: “It’s been a while. A year and a half since my last release. For years I was on top of the ‘progressive house’ charts, touring the world and living a life that I’d dreamed. But then I realized, it wasn’t fulfilling. It wasn’t “me”. After releasing records I felt weren’t representing myself for years, I took a step back. But I’m back with new sounds.”
