After 3 long years, clubbing events are set to return to the party capital of the world, Ibiza, throughout the 2022 season. With Ushuaia playing host to the likes of Calvin Harris and Tchami in 2019, neighbouring super-venue, Hi Ibiza, included the likes of David Guetta and Don Diablo in their residencies. But few could have predicted what would happen next, as the White Isle faced a total shutdown throughout 2020 due to the pandemic, and was only partially opened with a scattering of socially distanced events in 2021. Now, 2022 is going off with a bang! With the traditional Ibiza season running from late-May to September, it looks like the Balearic Islands are eager to make up for lost time, with this year’s opening parties taking place in April.
Europe’s ultimate open-air venue, Ushuaia Beach Hotel, will bring an all-star cast to proceedings on Saturday 30th April, with the marathon event spilling over into glitzy indoor club, Hi, as party goers rave into the early morning hours and beyond. Titling the event ‘Better Together’, an eclectic line-up has already been confirmed, made up of Adam Beyer, Artbat, Black Coffee, Charlotte De Witte, Damian Lazarus, Kolsch, The Martinez Brothers, and many more. The news is the latest announcement in the Ibiza 2022 saga, with Amnesia recently confirming they’re set to honour 20 years of the iconic movie Kevin & Perry Go Large (originally filmed in the San Rafael-based superclub), with two special events throughout 2022… One in June, and another in September.
