Jim & Nils of Dutch supergroup Yellow Claw are known simultaneously for some of the hardest-hitting dance music and also some of the catchiest trending pop sounds. Now they get emotional on a new start-studded collab ‘Let’s Get Married’ with Migos’s star Offset and Era Istrefi, it’s accompanied by a first of its kind music video.
The tracks video strays from the cookie-cutter concepts of artist and their collaborators running around with fast cars, instead it documents in real time the story of the proposal and blossoming romance of a Yellow Claw super fan, Kristoffer Moore.
Speaking to People, Jim says of the choice to create this thoughtful idea for their day one fans, “We just want to promote the message of real people falling in love,” Moore wed his now-wife Biana in a ceremony that was paid for using the video’s budget.
‘Lets Get Married’ follows the release of ‘Baila Conmigo’ with Saweetie, INNA, and Jenn Morel. The track marks their second release since signing with Jay Z’s Roc Nation.
