TWICE’s Nayeon Makes Solo Debut with EP “IM NAYEON”

Nayeon of critically acclaimed K-Pop group TWICE, steps out with her first solo venture on EP IM NAYEON. The first member of the nine-member group to make a solo debut since the Twice’s formation in 2015, Nayeon’s EP seems set to showcase the musician’s individual potential and sonic identity.

Cleverly titled IM NAYEON, as a reference to her full name “Lim Nayeon,” the seven-track collection works as a reintroduction of the charming singer with the spotlight solely on her for the first time in her music career.

With lead single “POP,” gracing us on MTV Fresh Out Live – also marking Nayeon’s solo U.S. broadcast debut – the EP is stocked full of addictive melodies and fresh bursts of energy.

Other tracks on the EP include love songs like “NO PROBLEM(Feat. Felix of Stray Kids),” and “LOVE COUNTDOWN (Feat. Wonstein),” and “THE SUNSET IS PRETTY,” which capture different facets of falling in love while other tracks channel Nayeon’s sonic versatility like on sweet summery pop anthem CANDYFLOSS,” as well as more mature, emotive productions like “ ALL OR NOTHING,” and HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU.”

Coming on the back of a hugely successful year with TWICE, who became the first female K-Pop group to play a North American stadium, with back-to-back, sold-out performances, and tours, Nayeon brings everything she has honed over the past seven years to an ethereal and enchanting peak with a unique sound that’s completely her own.
