RÜFÜS DU SOL Round Out AUS/NZ Tour With Epic Melbourne Shows

One thing is clear, the demand for RÜFÜS DU SOL has never been more alive, even over 13 months on from their album release. With two sold out shows at Fleminton Racecourse in Melbourne – there would have been well over 30,000 attendees, something even the largest of festvals struggle to come close to.

Given RÜFÜS DU SOL’s innate ablity to produced incredible, memorable music, almost every song had the never ending crowd singing along. From their latest album Surrender, to their unmistakable hts – the trio took tthe crowd on a journey and was certnialy a special two hours. Support acts Luke Alessi and Jon Hopkins were brilliant warm ups and would defintely draw a crowd for a solo perrformance, let alone RÜFÜS DU SOL following.

The only negative would be the amoount of people in attendance, which to some may not be a negative. Given the tens of thousands of people, movement was restrricted and to get a good view, you needed to be at the front from the start, or be that people everyone hates, moving awkwardly through the crowd. It’s not fault on RÜFÜS DU SOL, who I’m sure would love millions of pople in the crowd, however an intimate RÜFÜS DU SOL should be something on your bucket list.

The timing for RÜFÜS DU SOL and the sun setting made for a magical experiance that fans will not forgot any time soon and will be sure to have their eyes on future tour dates.
