A Look Into Artists At Playing Elements Music Festival 2023: Elderbrook, Daily Bread, Moore Kismet, & Noizu

Elements Music Festival is coming back to the Pocono Mountains at the Pocono Raceway for the second year in a row on August 10-14th, 2023. This festival is home to many and has been a running and successful festival since 2013 it started as a one-day festival hosted in New York City’s Waterfront and was founded by Timothy Monkiewicz. In 2017 the festival expanded to a camping three-day festival and relocated to Lakewood Pennsylvania. Last year was their first year at the raceway and are expected to stay there as the grounds seem to be a perfect fit. The Festival has also expanded into a 4 day-long camping festival and puts on some of the biggest artists. This year you can expect to see some of the biggest names like Skrillex, Rezz, STS9, LSDream, & Substronics. There is much in store and will be an immersive experience filled with art and music all weekend! Electro-soul and hip-hop producer Rhett Whatley

Elderbrook

English musician Alexander Kotz known under the name “Elderbrook” has been creating music since 2015 and is based out of London in the UK. The beginning of his carer started when he was 16, he became a member of an indie band in which he participated until he was 19. At that point, he started singing and songwriting but it wasn’t until he began university that he developed his electronic style of music. School exposed him to many different styles of music and he was initially very interested in soulful hip-hop music. After graduating from University is when his “Elderbrook” debut took place, releasing the hit song and EP “Could.” This song would soon go on to become his first major hit and followed by the other two songs on the EP “Rewinding” and “How Many Times.”

DailyBread

Electro-soul and hip-hop producer Rhett Whatley is an American Atlanta-based artist who has been making music since 2014. He started just making beats in his bedroom and transformed into touring the country. He has a background in jazz guitar and always loved soulful hip-hop music that he incorporates into his electronic-styled music. Once he started releasing music, Philos Records got word of him almost immediately and signed him in February 2017. He then continued his daily bread project by moving to Denver to gain more experience and knowledge, all the while receiving over a million plays on Spotify. He now lives back in Atlanta and has been touring with the Dailybread project as well as a side project called “Cloud Conductor.”

Moore Kismet

Music producer Omar Davis made history in 2021 by being the youngest DJ to ever perform at EDC and LollaPalooza. They have been making music since 2017 and is currently only 18 years old. They weren’t even 18 when they played EDC for the first time, so impressive! The California native is an LGBTQ ally and advocates how important it is to be yourself. They are an inspiration and also a very talented artist, who has been featured on Billboards 21 under 21 list two years in a row! They are signed to Thrive Music and Universal Music Group and is expected to be making huge headway this upcoming year with their future bass-styled EDM music.

Noizu

House artist Jacob Plant with the stage name “Noizu” has known he wanted to make music for a living from the age of thirteen. He grew up around music and it has always been a part of his life, he got his foot in the door when he made his debut in 2017 on Skrillex and Chris Lakes’ label “Howsla.” He released the song “Lasers” which eventually caught the attention of French artist Tchami. He then went on to continue releasing music the “Jungle EP” that was instantly respected and supported by artists like Diplo, Oliver Heldens, Atrak, Jauz, Malaa, & more. He is also an ally to other artists in the community as he encourages younger artists to release their music. He helps to bring other artists to the spotlight just as some others did for him in the early stages of his career.
