With a number of previous stunning collaborations between the pair, deadmau5 and Kaskade have come together for a duo project. The project, titled Kx5 will be both a live show and a musical output. The duo’s first single under Kx5 comes as ‘Escape’ together with the talented Hayla on vocals.
The goosebump worthy single brings back a similar feel to their unreal 2008 collaborative effort ‘I Remember’, which seems to have been their goal. ‘Escape’ really is an incredible single and does bring the listener back to simpler times. With touches of piano, a nod to classic progressive house and an irresistible vocal from Hayla, ‘Escape’ is set to be a landmark tune for 2022.
‘Escape’ is the perfect way to debut this new project and is sure to have everyone keeping an eye out for their next single.
