With Ultra Music Festival coming up in just a few short weeks, every genre in the EDM space will be represented. The flagship experience will feature a variety of label takeovers. One imprint that has been given its own stage takeover at Ultra is the renowned Belgian label Dirty Workz. Founded by DJ Coone in 2006, Dirty Workz has grown into the figurehead of the hardstyle and jumpstyle movements. The platform has collaborated with tons of electronic superstars and has had so much success that it even opened some of its own sub-labels. Now, Dirty Workz is thrilled to bring a stellar lineup to Miami’s biggest event of the year. Check out the Dirty Workz acts that you will not want to miss below.
Made up of Kenth Kvien and Marcus Nordli, Da Tweekaz has been taking over the hardstyle community with their signature sound. This celebrated duo has toured across the world, DJing their dance anthems like “Moskau”, “Jägermeister”, and “How Far I’ll Go”. A driving factor that separates their project from the norm is their Tweeka TV live stream. Having started during the pandemic, each week the pair puts on a show by performing sets right from their studio. Da Tweekaz has loads of unreleased bangers that they are sure to unleash during their Dirty Workz set at UMF.
Another dynamic duo, Rebelion consists of veteran Scottish artists Gary and Raymond. Since debuting Rebelion in 2015, these partners have gone on to release mind-bending hardstyle albums, such as Uprising, Empire, and Artificial Intoxication. Opening doors for future artists in the genre, Rebelion also has their own popular label, Acid Reign. Like Da Tweekaz, they are widely recognized for their innovation, specifically their 3D-based live stream. These two performers are prepared to electrify the crowd when they arrive at the Dirty Workz stage.
Sub Zero Project
Sub Zero Project, also known as Nigel Coppen and Thomas Velderman, burst out onto the hardstyle scene in 2014. This Dutch duo has garnered a large following from infectious singles like “Halo”, “Our Church”, “Darkest Hour”, and “Trip To Mars”. Overflowing with Sub Zero Project’s one-of-a-kind production style, it is no surprise that each of these tracks has racked up tens of millions of streams. It is through their expert level of sound design and seamless mixing abilities that Sub Zero Project has worked with likes of Hardwell, W&W, Timmy Trumpet, and Vini Vici. Fresh off their 2022 hit album, Renaissance Of Rave, Nigel and Thomas are ready to tear things up with their immersive live show experience, Psychodelic. Just one of their 100+ shows lined up for this year, Sub Zero Project’s Ultra set is going to be remarkable.
