Electronic music with a spiritual edge that gets you more in tune with your higher vibrations has been something on the rise in recent years. Fairplay have remixed “Aref Innak,” originally created by Emsallam and Adan Wakeem, the tune very much embodies the above mentioned traits while going beyond it as well.
Fairplay doesn’t necessarily go to one extreme or another in their creative direction of this remix, but instead seemingly approaches it from an ‘enhancement’ perspective, where they expand on the energy of what Emsallam and Adan Wakeem put out there. One thing is for sure, they breath new life into the original, blending the best parts of their style with that of “Aref Innak.”
Released on Keife Records, Fairplay had this to share about the release:
“Working on local music excites us. We feel we have a lot to add to the scene and want to build on it. There is a lot of room for creativity with arabic music and we love to push the boundaries and make something new. ‘Aref Enak’ motivated us to do that.”
Other artist involved here played an important role, their contribution certainly going on to inspire thousands if not tens-of-thousands through the grace of music.
