Taking his audience on an introspective journey through sound, Frameworks is back with his fourth full-length album, REFLECTIONS. With 11 unique songs, the compilation opens with “TWENTY-TWO”. The lead track boasts an abundance of heavenly piano progressions and uplifting vocal echoes. Setting the mood for the rest of the EP, it is followed by the likes of recently released singles “BLUE LIGHT”, “NO TIME”, “CIRCLES”, and “COLD”. Other originals such as “PILOT” embrace interstellar soundscapes and hypnotic lyrics.
As powerful as the auditory components surrounding REFLECTIONS are, the project has a much deeper message behind it. Centered around his infant son, who battled with a life-threatening condition and was given three months to live, this LP really pulls on the heart strings of its listeners. Now, seven years later, the memory has shaped Frameworks view of the world, along with him gaining a surplus of inspiration from his son’s willpower. With the intention of making the most out of every day and being thankful for his experiences over the years, Frameworks embeds these notions throughout REFLECTIONS.
Adding to the ones previously mentioned, the rest of the LP is packed with emotional and captivating melodic anthems. Looking towards the future, Frameworks plans to perform REFLECTIONS live at his upcoming summer festival slots, from Shambhala to Summer Camp.
