Hello Sunshine Returns To Caribbean Gardens For A Radiant 2024 Edition

Hello Sunshine, Melbourne’s newfound favourite music and food festival, is making a triumphant return in 2024 to offer an unforgettable day filled with music, delectable treats, vibrant markets, thrilling rides, and continuous entertainment. As a family-friendly event, Hello Sunshine’s 2024 edition will feature performances by Grinspoon, The Veronicas, The Temper Trap, Pete Murray, Bliss N Eso, and Brad Cox. The festivities will also include a special appearance by The Wiggles, who will present their inaugural The Wiggles Sound System setup during the event. Hello Sunshine is set to light up Melbourne’s Caribbean Gardens on Saturday, March 2, ensuring it remains an all-ages affair while being fully licensed for adults.

In the musical extravaganza planned for Hello Sunshine at Melbourne’s Caribbean Gardens in March, iconic Australian rockers Grinspoon, known for their illustrious career since the mid-90s, are set to headline. Having recently released vinyl editions of their acclaimed albums, Easy (1999) and New Detention (2002), the band is enthusiastic about kicking off their 2024 on a high note at Hello Sunshine. Meanwhile, alt-pop sensations The Veronicas, fresh from their chart-topping single “Hook Me Up” and gearing up for a US tour in April, will be making their first local appearance since 2022, promising Melbourne a massive sing-along and a sneak peek at new material from their upcoming album, Gothic Summer.

Adding a unique twist to the festival lineup, The Wiggles’ Anthony, John, and DJ Dorothy will debut as The Wiggles Sound System, delivering Wiggly remixes for a multi-generational audience. Pete Murray, the three-time ARIA Album Chart topper, will bring his sunny sonic goodness to the stage, expressing his excitement to return to Melbourne for Hello Sunshine. Additionally, The Temper Trap, known for their euphoric rock stylings, promises an unforgettable performance. The festival will also showcase a diverse array of talent, including Bliss n Eso, Brad Cox, Jay Santilli, Anya Alchemy, D’Arcy Spiller, and Lenny Pearce, as well as world-renowned DJS Rockafellas. MC Byron Cooke is set to host the main stage once again, ensuring a day filled not only with top-notch music but also international food trucks, carnival rides, an FMX show, fireworks, and market stalls featuring local artisans and small businesses. Hello Sunshine is poised to be an all-encompassing entertainment experience on March 2, 2024.

Situated at the base of the Dandenong Ranges, Caribbean Gardens in the eastern part of Melbourne is set to be the venue for Hello Sunshine once more, continuing its presence since the inaugural event in 2023. Emerging as the favoured festival grounds in Victoria, this picturesque green space has become an ideal playground, having also hosted Melbourne’s Listen Out festival in 2023. Anticipate a day brimming with exceptional live performances, delectable food offerings, abundant positive energy, and, as always, plenty of sunshine at Hello Sunshine in 2024!
