Announced less than a day before release, Kid Cudi and Eminem unite on ‘The Adventures of Moon Man and Slim Shady’. The song was produced by frequent Cudi collaborator Dot da Genius.
The collab was announced in an adorable video featuring Cudi’s daughter Vada, which was posted to Cudi’s Twitter account earlier today.
“Hi, it’s Vada! I’m here to say that my daddy’s new single, ‘The Adventures of Moon Man and Slim Shady’, is coming out on Friday. Check it out! Bye,” she says in the brief clip.
Kid Cudi returned this year with the solo single ‘Leader of the Delinquents’. He then collaborated with Travis Scott on ‘THE SCOTTS’. Coming up, he’s teased an animated Kids See Ghosts show with Kanye West and he will be featured on the HBO series We Are Who We Are. Cudi’s last solo album was 2016’s Passion, Pain & Demon Slayin’.
The new offering will most likely be a part of his upcoming Entergalactic album (which has since been confirmed to coincide with an official Netflix series spearheaded by Kenya Barris).
Eminem surprised dropped his Music To Be Murdered By album in January and was most recently featured on Jessie Reyez’s album BEFORE LOVE CAME TO KILL US.
