Naeleck Remixes Anime Theme Song ‘Sakura Burst’

The 15th anniversary broadcast of popular Japanese anime Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion kicked off in Japan back in October last year and as part of the anniversary the TV Show has been rebroadcast with brand new openings and credits scenes and songs.

The new ending anthem is ‘Sakura Burst’, from Japanese duo Cö shu Nie. The song is reworked by Naeleck to act as the accompanying dance mix.

With millions of views on his TikTok anime videos Naeleck is no stranger to anime fans worldwide and the perfect fit to transform an anime song into a club banger.

After last months’ mix of zmazarashi’s opening of the Anime ’86’ blow up, no wonder Sony got in touch to organise the second and last remix.

Naeleck explained his remix: “I have always been an anime fan, starting with Dragon Ball when I was a kid till today with Shingeki no Kyojin, One Piece, Dorohedoro…. Been doing a lot of crossovers videos on Tiktok between my undead character and anime ones so even people who don’t know me for my music might know me for that. Having the opportunity to remix anime songs such as the Code Geass’ ED is helping me build a bridge between both worlds. Cö shu Nie’s vocals and guitar were very inspiring and I kept a lot of it, trying to keep the soul of the track and adding my signature club elements.”
