Following their debut single, a stunning cover of Kid Cudi’s “Day ’N’ Night” that has amassed almost 200k streams on Spotify already, nightswimX are continuing their impressive trajectory within the scene with yet another cover, taking on Nirvana’s “Smells Like Teen Spirit.” The tune is without a doubt a roller coast of emotions, starting off with a sultry house verse before transiting into a guitar-driven break, that encompasses a lot of the original’s energy, and a heavy drop filled with growling synths.
“We’ve always been inspired by punk rock and wanted to find a way to work those elements into our music. With our first release of Day ‘N’ Nite receiving so much support, we figured why not push the boundaries a little more and make a punk song for EDM fans?”
