Oliver Heldens Enlists Funkin Matt And Bright Sparks For Bass-Heavy Single “Somebody”

An undisputed pioneer of the future house genre, Dutch superstar Oliver Heldens has been maintaining an immensely busy release schedule over the years, on top of performing at the world’s most prestigious festivals. Having released almost ten singles and remixes just this year, among those collaborations with ZAYN, Boy Matthews, Kiko Bun and more, Oliver Heldens has now returned with his latest gem, teaming up with producer Funkin Matt And and UK duo Bright Sparks to release “Somebody.”

Out via Oliver Heldens’ very own Heldeep Records, “Somebody” is a unique record that packs the punch of a club-ready anthem while simultaneously being able to perfectly work as a late-night radio hit. Stunning vocal lines introduce the tune under an atmospheric bassline, before the drop explodes into a sequence of gritty bass, ominous synth melodies and groovy drums.
