Pendulum’s latest body of work is the four-track Anima EP, landing today via Virgin/Mushroom Group.
The EP features collaborators Matt Tuck of Bullet For My Valentine, along with rapper/screamo artist Scarlxrd. ‘Mercy Killing’ is the focus track – which features a blistering combination of rock, screamo, and thrilling DnB that takes over the chorus/ while ‘Silent Spinner’ caps off the EP launching with a Spanish horn section and flows into a booming groove, slick vocal melodies, and metallic, futuristic synth sounds only Pendulum could finesse.
Collectively, the first two singles ‘Halo’ with Matt Tuck & “Colorfast” have amassed over 13M streams, 1.5M views, radio rotation on Music Choice’s (24/7) METAL channel.
The project is another stellar example of Pendulum’s incredible talents, from vocals to production. Each record showcases Pendulum’s classic rock/drum and bass style, with a refreshing 2023 take.
