Riton and Oliver Heldens Unite For ‘Turn Me On’, A 2019 Re-Take Of A Classic

London house producer Riton links with Oliver Heldens for a fresh take on the 1982 release ‘Don’t Go’ by Yazoo. ‘Turn Me On’ is out now through Ministry of Sound.

This version utilizes the signature melody and accompanying sound and then builds upon it. With stand out vocals from Vula, this is a perfect modern take. It brings a more club friendly mix that still remains in the commercial scene.

“I always wanted to be the Alison Moyet to Vince Clarke in Yazoo” Riton explains. “And the lovely chap has let me sample his smash hit ‘Don’t Go’. I’m honoured. Thank you to the big man.”

Both artists have had their share of success, most notably Riton with ‘Rinse & Repeat’ and Oliver Heldens with ‘Gecko’ which has seen countless successful follow ups.
