Seven Lions has made a name for himself as a king of melodic bass music, and he’s been on fire with his latest releases this year with the likes of Slander, Wooli, and Kill the Noise to name a few. Now he’s back with fellow melodic bass mainstay MitiS and electro-indie duo RBBTS for “Break the Silence.”
With names like this on the track, I knew this was going to be a downright gorgeous piece of work, and my expectations were realized with the first listen. “Break the Silence” is the perfect amalgamation of Seven Lions and MitiS’s styles of melodic dubstep, coupled with pop sensibilities that don’t diminish the big, larger-than-life feel of the track. The vocals from RBBTS only serve to enhance the song’s epic-ness, and there’s no doubt this will become the next Seven Lions festival staple.
