Sub Focus & Wilkinson Soar to New Heights With Single “Air I Breathe”

Calling all D’n’B heads, Future Bass freaks, and Electronic Music enthusiasts – UK-hailing producers Sub Focus and Wilkinson collaborate minds to release heavy-hitting track “Air I Breathe” off of Universal Music. With over 1 billion combined streams and well-renowned rave classics that filled the clubs within the past few years, it’s no surprise this track reaches to a new length of becoming a top 2020 hit in the dance world.

“Air I Breathe” starts out with a light, yet piano riff, that slowly brings elements of synths, and arpeggiating rhythms that anticipate the iconic drum’n’bass rhythm that Sub Focus and Wilkinson make a name for. This track features vocals from the siren Clem, who you may recognize from Sub Focus’s 2019 hit “Desire”. Angelic and powerful, her lyricism, vocal layering and performance on the track really tie it all together.

This track is just one of the many to be featured on their upcoming collaborative album, “Portals”. Earlier this year, the duo announced the album release with “Just Hold On” in April. Sub Focus elaborates in this project as a more “expansive and more experimental direction”. Both releases feature more live instruments and new takes on song buildup.

If you need a new drum’n’bass anthem to get through your day, consider this a breath of fresh air – while anticipating their upcoming album.
