Subtronics & HOL!’s ‘Mind Pluck’ Is A Must-Hear Riddim Fueled Collab

The relentless pursuit of ‘angry robot noises’ has landed Subtronics and HOL! another devastating collaboration titled “MIND PLUCK.” Unveiled today on Subtronics’s Cyclops Recordings imprint, is heavy riddim-fueled energy from tip to tail. A delightful smorgasbord of raw synths, powerful percussion, and grand-standing bass, “MIND PLUCK” is nothing short of an audio juggernaut. The collaboration has taken Subtronics’s and HOL!’s distinct sounds to their zenith, catapulting listeners on a wild ride.

Jesse Kardon, better known as Subtronics, is a name that has skyrocketed to the upper echelon of bass music. With a childhood passion for his drum set, Radiohead, and a newfound love for dubstep during high school in Philadelphia, PA, Kardon transformed these influences into his unique sound – a hard-hitting fusion of advanced sound design and bass that graces festival stages from Lollapalooza to Bonnaroo. Subtronics, named one of EDM.com’s best music producers of 2020, shared earlier this June that he’s currently piecing together his sophomore album.

Subtronics is also the maestro behind sold-out headlining events at prestigious venues like Red Rocks, Aragon Theatre, and the Hollywood Palladium. His works extend to collaborations with industry heavyweights including Excision, Slander, Marshmello, and more. His releases, spread across Ultra Music, Never Say Die, SubCarbon, Deadbeats, and his label, Cyclops Recordings, echo his commitment to crafting cutting-edge music.

HOL!, meanwhile, is in the midst of a stellar 2023. Following the release of the VIP of his breakout hit “COUNTRY RIDDIM” and the raucous single “Poetic Pit,” this collaboration with Subtronics seems to solidify his meteoric rise in the bass music scene.

With “MIND PLUCK,” Subtronics and HOL! serve an exciting extension of their musical territories. Whether it’s producing groundbreaking tracks or rallying the ‘Cyclops Army,’ the pair promise to continue pushing the envelope and elevating the bass music scene.
