Miami Music Week this year was an absolute blast. Possibly the best one yet, MMW encompassed hype pool parties, stacked club shows, label takeovers, and the world-renowned Ultra. Matching up with the high level of energy that MMW delivers is a brand new four-track EP, Swerve Miami Sampler ’23. Released by Swerve Collective Creations on Friday of MMW, this compilation perfectly encapsulates the vibe of the festive annual EDM celebration.
The Swerve Miami Sampler ’23 features a talented display of up-and-coming names in house music, such as Pejt, Lianju, Aitor Hertz, Seanyy, Bad Habits, Mave, and Langhoff. Together, they provide a hefty supply of emphatic basslines and chilling effects. For example, the second track on the EP, “Okay”, has a heavy bass drop that is optimal for making a crowd go wild. Additionally, “Midnight” finishes off the compilation with breathtaking vocals and futuristic soundscapes. Just as entrancing are the other two anthems, “Ladies & Gentlemen” and “Show”.
Representing the beginning of a year full of spellbinding projects from Swerve Collective Creations, Swerve Miami Sampler ’23 is ushering in the next wave of house. The brand and its founder Sean Danielczyk, aka Seanyy, are gearing up for a monumental 2023.
