Alesso & Armin van Buuren Team Up For Underwhelming ‘Leave A Little Love’

When these two acts indicated a collaboration was on the way, excited ensued. Alesso and Armin van Buuren have been at the forefront of dance music for many years now, delivering some truly special records over that time. While Alesso and Armin van Buuren’s collaboration is anything but bad, it does not live up to their names.

The duo aim for a pop orientated house track with elements of slap house incorporated. The track is super catchy and is sure to achieve their goal, but given the artists’ past with melodic and touching electronic music, this is not what fans envisioned.

The vocals are impressive and are the focus point of the single, which again is disappointing due to what the instrumental could have been. There is no denying Alesso and Armin van Buuren’s talents, hopefully we can see them collaborate again, maybe with the result being something less commercial.

Thankfully, it seems that there is a club mix, likely done by Armin only as he played a trance orientated production with the vocals in his radio show.
