AREA15 announces the launch of “We’re All Mad Here,” the first event of its 2024 Massive series, on April 6. This series, rooted in the late 1990s tradition of grand rave events, blends concerts with festival elements, creating immersive experiences through music, art, performance, and spectacle. In its 2024 iteration, Massives will introduce new elements inspired by a resurgence in rave culture, including immersive entertainment, roaming performers, and specialty food and beverage options. The events will welcome thousands in costume, feature special activations, and present a variety of musical acts across several stages.
Headlining “We’re All Mad Here” is Charlotte de Witte, a global electronic music icon. The event promises an Alice in Wonderland-themed journey with unique offerings such as Drink-Me Potions, interactive photo opportunities, and captivating art installations. Additional performances include Tiga, Danny Daze, Hiroko Yamamura, and Lizzie Aguirre in the outdoor A-Lot venue, with Justin Jay and The Disco Divers performing inside the Portal’s 360-degree space.
Three more Massives are scheduled for 2024: “Secret Garden” on May 4, offering a magical forest exploration; “Galactic Zoo” in September, a space-themed extravaganza; and “ScAREA15” in October, a Halloween-themed party. Each event is designed to offer a unique, thematic experience across the entire AREA15 campus.
