Exciting news arrives as CRSSD announces an impressive lineup for its Fall 2023 Edition, set to take place on September 23 and 24 at Downtown San Diego’s Waterfront Park.
This festival offers a complete takeover of the city, utilizing one of North America’s most accessible urban centers. By day, attendees can revel in the beautiful Waterfront Park, surrounded by lush scenery. As night falls, the festivities continue with a diverse array of after-parties spread across various clubs, venues, and transformed spaces. CRSSD Festival guarantees an unparalleled electronic music experience, curated with innovation and foresight at every juncture.
The Fall 2023 lineup at CRSSD showcases a convergence of scenes and eras, delivering an eclectic exploration into the past, present, and future of the genre.
At the Ocean View stage, legendary British electronic pioneers Underworld take the spotlight. With their groundbreaking productions influencing artists across multiple generations since the early 90s, they have become a global soundtrack. Joining them is Flume, the Grammy-winning Australian artist who propelled the future-bass sound to worldwide acclaim and continues to captivate audiences as one of dance music’s most celebrated performers. The Ocean View curation extends to include other influential figures like Fatboy Slim, Ben Böhmer (performing live) from Anjunadeep, renowned piano-house icon LP Giobbi, the R&B-infused producer SG Lewis, and chart-topping acts Elderbrook and Eliza Rose. The avant-garde is also well-represented by Norway’s Röyksopp and Dutch torchbearers Weval.
The Palms stage maintains its reputation as a vibrant sonic destination and a hub for non-stop party vibes. Leading the stage is Basement Jaxx (DJ Set), another powerhouse from the British music scene whose timeless tracks such as “Where’s Your Head At” and “Romeo” are considered anthems of all time. Overmono will bring their trend-defining broken beat sound to the mix, while fan favorites FISHER and the duo Chris Lake b2b Cloonee showcase the pinnacle of modern tech house flavors. Shifting focus to the international underground circuit, notable artists like Grammy-nominated Jayda G, the dominator of “Baddest of Them All” Interplanetary Criminal, TSHA, and the electrifying B3B set from Etienne de Crecy, DJ Falcon, and Boombass are set to captivate the audience.
