Now, DallasK has come to legendary label Astralwerks to share smooth, pop/house cut “Try Again” alongside Lauv.
The duo’s collaborative history dates back to 2016, when DallasK co-produced Lauv’s single “Breathe,” and has resulted in multiple other hits such as “Sad Forever” and multiple songs off Lauv’s 2020 EP Without You. DallasK actually played all the instruments on “Try Again,” which is driven by washed out guitar melodies, warm synth lines and subtle drum work.
“‘Try Again’ is actually the first dance record Lauv and I made together and it was super fun to create a unique record that encompasses both of our styles and influences,” says DallasK, while Lauv adds, “Me and Dally made this song a couple years ago and we came back to it during quarantine and now we ready to put er out into the world”
