“Unmask,” is a tease to what will be a truly special EP that Dee Mash is calling Superhuman. The Chicago based talent clearly has been working on his chops over the years, “Unmask,” revealing some spicy production aspects. From the belting brass horns to the creative arrangement he’s put in place on this one, there’s so much to love at once. “Unmask,” is a production in which you are unsure what will come next, but boast an easy to follow groove where there is an order and place for everything you are hearing and feeling.
To get to this point, Dee Mash has had to climb some serious hurdles, overcoming heavy mental health issues and instead setting big goals and achieving just that. Now at a better place, he’s re-energized to live his dreams to the fullest and give his all no matter what.
If the EP sounds anything like what “Unmask,” has put there, some serious power and craftmanship can safely be expected to hit the airwaves. Having played North Coast Music Festival a few months back and continuing to utilize his hustle to shake the right hands and spend time making that truly represents him, Dee Mash is on his way up.
