DJ Susan’s Hood Politics Label Releases Spicy 5-Track Remix EP, ‘Dubstep Forever’

Headed by renowned house artist DJ Susan, Hood Politics is the epitome of the underground. The label has constantly discovered and promoted upcoming producers and DJs since its emergence in 2017. With over 200 original records and more than 100 free edits, Hood Politics has featured tech house’s finest artists, such as John Summit, Max Styler, PEACE MAKER!, and DJ Susan of course.

As it continues to expand its influence, this platform has gained support from industry-leading performers like Diplo and GORDO. Furthering its reign over the underground scene, Hood Politics is excited to deliver a five-track EP, titled “Dubstep Forever”, for its widespread fanbase. DJ Susan himself and Broken Future tag team the first flip, taking Zomboy’s ‘Like A Bitch’ and giving it a whole new feel. A funky edit of NGHTMRE and Flux Pavilion’s “Feel Your Love”, created by Sherm and FLYNNINHO, then comes next. Rising multi-instrumentalist and producer Galo is up next with a remix of Adventure Club’s “Rise & Fall”. This groovy house heater is guaranteed to light up the dance floor.

The third dubstep flip is forged by the upcoming bass house duo Rich Dietz. They transform Keys N Krates classic “Dum Dee Dum” into a tribal meets tech house anthem. Closing out “Dubstep Forever” is Hood Politics co-founder Nutty, who shapes Skrillex’s global hit “Scary Monsters & Nice Sprites” into a disco-infused house tune.

Altogether, the EP is an innovative project that strengthens the bridge between different genres across EDM. “Dubstep Forever” showcases why Hood Politics has become one of the hottest house labels over the last few years.
