Dom Dolla Wows With Double Headline Melbourne Shows

Dom Dolla’s highly anticipated dual sold-out shows at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl exceeded expectations, marking an unforgettable experience.

Over two days, 25,000 fans of Dom gathered to watch. The night kicked off with JNETT, who warmed up the crowd with a chill and groovy house set. Torren Foot & Airwolf Paradise then went back-to-back, elevating the energy by dropping tracks like ‘Only Man’ and ‘Candy’ as fans streamed into the venue.

Excitement filled the air when Dom took the stage at 9 pm, opening his two-hour set with his recent ‘Black Betty’ remix. The stage design, light show, and fireworks were spectacular. The stage had a massive cube that illuminated from all sides. Often surrounded in fog, with an impressive wall of lights behind and beside him, the atmosphere was truly electrifying. The Sidney Myer Music Bowl is a great venue that does have a few negative elements, Dolla and co provide a great experience even incorporating said negatives.

Dom Dolla’s set was a perfect mix of familiar records from himself and others, together with some special unreleased material and underground records. The Melbourne native even played old-school records but in new edits, breathing new life into them.

It was clear that it meant a lot to Dom Dolla to have come back from countless international tours to his hometown of Melbourne to be greeted by 25,000 hometown fans, as it should.
