Dynamic Trio H3rizon Return With Stunning New Single & Music Video, “SERIOUS”

Based in Australia, power trio H3rizon have truly established themselves as a force to be reckoned with, sharing powerful songs and intoxicating visuals that never fail to impress. Made up of musicians Bernadette Marquez (Bernie), Taylah Albert (Tay) and Gabrielle Montalbo (Gabby), of Filipino and Mauritian Heritage, the group rebranded themselves and launched their career as H3RIZON back in late 2018. Now, represented by a veteran management team that works with the likes of One Direction, Little Mix, Nelly, P. Diddy and many more, they are more than ready to claim their place within the mainstream R&B scene.

H3rizon have amassed a massive audience of more than 1.7 million followers on TikTok, and are now teaming up with newly-launched digital NFT label blockplay to release their brand new single “SERIOUS,” which undoubtedly makes up for their biggest and most impressive effort to date. Coming alongside a stunning music video, the tune brings forth every single quality that makes H3rizon unique, combining mid-00s R&B influences with current production tropes, something that makes up for a forward-thinking result.

While the instrumental is a truly impressive effort, driven by hard-hitting drums and lush synth lines, the three girls’ vocal performances, heavenly harmonies and infectious energy truly take the song to the next level, as they display immense chemistry and charisma with their verses and choruses. The music video for “SERIOUS” on the other hand, without a doubt amplifies the message and energy even more, featuring H3rizon in a number of different sets as they dance, perform and sing in a truly vibrant and lively fashion. Women empowerment, inclusivity and mental health are high on H3rizon’s agenda, and making music that helps people escape their everyday troubles is of great importance to them. As Taya explains about the song:

“Every time we post a video or write a song, I imagine the moment it’s being viewed or listened to.. Mental health is an issue close to my heart, so we hope our art takes that person to another place, somewhere far away from the mundane, far away from any pandemic, from un-paid bills, from life struggles… even if it’s just for a minute!”

“SERIOUS” marks only the beginning for H3rizon, and with surely a lot more music and exciting new projects in the works, we couldn’t be more excited to keep following them on their journey.
