Four Years After First Play, Eric Prydz Releases ‘NOPUS’

Having a four year break between first play and release is not something that happens often among artists. However, when it comes to Eric Prydz, massive waits before official releases are a normality.

Originally played at EDC Las Vegas back in 2016, ‘NOPUS’ now sees the light of day. Coined ‘NOPUS’ by fans due to its similarities to one of the most popular Prydz records ‘Opus’, the name stuck and is now official.

The track has been a consistent closer for his sets. With its incredible sound design and production quality, the track screams Prydz. The progressing piano and euphoric melody make for another undeniably top notch release from the master.

This is the first official original under the Eric Prydz name since his Opus album in 2016. Given Prydz will have much more time in the studio this year, hopefully this isn’t the only track we get in 2020.
