Giles et Diego Brings Attention to Climate Action With ‘Oh, Environment’

Giles et Diego have teamed up with the children of Nkuringo Bright Future School Orphanage for their latest track, “Oh, Environment,” which not only sings but also shouts about the need for environmental sustainability and active climate action. Tucked away in the green, mountainous embrace of Nkuringo, SW Uganda, the song springs from a place that knows too well the impacts of environmental shifts. French organic house duo Giles et Diego, no strangers to blending their style with messages for the climate, have once more woven environmental responsibility into their music with this heart-stirring anthem.

“Oh, Environment” is a continuation of their Dance Be Happy EP project, deepening their dive into music that moves both the body and the conscience towards greener actions.

Launching alongside the track is the #ShareIfYouCare campaign, a heartfelt call to listeners worldwide to spread the song far and wide, boosting awareness about living sustainably and conserving our environment. This initiative is helping hand to several projects in Nkuringo, aiming at everything from school improvements and tree planting to water and wildlife conservation, along with community development programs focusing on environmental education, health, agriculture, and local skills.

Listeners are warmly invited to join in by sharing “Oh, Environment” and engaging with various eco-focused campaigns throughout the year. Each initiative is cleverly tied to significant environmental dates.

Giles & Diego’s musical journey began on a Tunisian beach, where their shared love for deep and melodic house music sparked a connection. With over a decade in the electronic music scene, Giles brings his piano skills and emotional depth, while Diego adds his rhythm and groove, honed through years as a drummer and DJ in the south of France. Together, they create music that’s not only meant for dancing but also for inspiring change.
