Back in Downtown Las Vegas this September 16th-September 18th, the lineup for Life is Beautiful is unsurprisingly stacked once again. Last year, the festival attracted more than 180,000 fans, and with this lineup, there is no doubt the festival is set to draw in thousands once again.
Featuring over 75 artists across 7 different stages, the festival includes headliners Arctic Monkeys, Calvin Harris, Gorillaz, and more. This marks Calvin Harris’ first festival debut since 2016 after his canceled Coachella performance due to the pandemic. Other notable artists include Charli XCX, Tai Verdes, Clinton Kane, Gryffin, Big Wild, Alessia Cara, and Coi Leray. Additionally, for those electronic music fans, there will be no shortage of talented artists to dance to, including Alison Wonderland, Rehab, and Gryffin.
Life is Beautiful prides itself on being more than a music festival—it features diverse comedians, popular podcast hosts, over 70 culinary experiences, primarily brought by Las Vegas talents, and themed dance parties. The festival describes these dance parties as a place “to enjoy eclectic sounds from local and visiting performers.” The sets will include music from Flamingosis, Bexxie, DJ Dan, Disco Lines, Kryptogram, and many more.
Life is Beautiful is also known for its support for local artists and immersive art experiences across 18-blocks of downtown Las Vegas. Around the festival are large murals and interactive sculpture exhibits created by both local and international artists. This year, Life is Beautiful is bringing back another local component, hosting a competition in collaboration with The Green Room where Las Vegas artists will contend for one of six “Vegas local” spots on the Rising Stars Stage at the festival. The competition, entitled “Road to Life is Beautiful — Locals Edition “ will allow Vegas musicians to showcase their talents virtually, which will then be voted on by fans before being selected to perform in person by a panel of judges.
Craig Asher Nyman, Head of Music & Programming stated about the lineup, “with each lineup, we are determined to give festival-goers an experience that celebrates all corners of music…but it always ties back to our mission to bring people together. From our performers to the communities we serve, we love creating moments that bring a lot more joy and happiness into the world.”
It is no surprise that Life is Beautiful has once again brought together such a diverse lineup, stacked with artists from all genres, with main focuses on pop, indie, hip-hop, and electronic music. Both three-day and one-day tickets are available here, along with more information about the full lineup. More information is available on the official website.
