Meticulous music producer Malive continues to embrace his diversity, combining two intimate recordings on newly formed HUGS imprint.
Hailing from Sao Paulo, Malive has graced the halls of standout labels including Noizu’s Techne, Shiba San’s Basement Leak, Box Of Cats and Tchami’s Confession imprint where he collaborated with HUGS inaugural artist Bruno Furlan, picking up support across his catalogue from the likes of Diplo, Tough Love, KLP, The Aston Shuffle and more.
For his next number, Malive joins forces with UK singer/songwriter ‘Burlington’ for his finely crafted ‘Shelf EP’, leading things off with the title track of the same name-an honest and upfront love story of vulnerability and self-worth showcased via a deep and alluring house record.
Switching up the moods, Malive takes things to the club and goes deeper on the b-side with ’Team Up’. Travelling to both ends of the spectrum, this charismatic two-track number displays the versatility and talent of one of Brazil’s most exciting exports!
