Meeting in 2018 after a decade in Boston, the pair discovered a mutual appreciation for soul samples, hip-hop, and whiskey, leading to the production of memorable tracks that blend ’90s hip-hop and R&B with contemporary sounds. Their latest single, “On the Low,” encapsulates a serene and hopeful hip-hop/R&B vibe, appealing to admirers of J. Cole, Little Brother, and Mac Miller. The music video, directed by Tim Barry, visually enriches the track’s relaxed and inviting atmosphere.
