Initially played back in 2018 by Marcus himself as well as by label boss Axwell, the incredible track that is ‘Losing Focus’ finally comes to fruition. Marc Benjamin jumps on the record for a house mix of the melody focused record that Marcus Santoro and David Pietras produced a couple of years ago.
Released on Axtone, the record features two versions. The main version highlights some amazing vocals together with the guitar from the progressive edit. While this is not what fans have been waiting for, it is still a great record that has more commercial appeal and works really well in unison with the secondary mix.
The second and arguably best version is the Marcus Santoro & David Pietras Mix. The melody focused production is incredible and it is very understandable as to why the demand for the ID has been so strong. Since being played by Axwell at Tomorrowland some years ago, the anticipation has only grown and it’s a treat for fans and dance music in general to have this record see the light of day.
