Mike Nasty Releases ‘Get Up’ Featuring Infectious, Classic House Energy

Following up the success of his debut EP titled Active, Mike Nasty is back in the saddle and doing what he does best, creating memorable and time-testing songs for the masses. The Brooklyn electronic musician is now gearing up for his next venture, bringing a full-scale album to to forefront, with “Get Up,” being the first single teasing the this new season of music the man is in. His debut album will be called Deep Into The Sun.

“Get Up,” comes paired with a music video as well – an experience that is down to earth, personable, and fits the sonic atmosphere that the music puts out. The music video articulates a well-thought out story that uses the historical atmosphere and architecture of NYC to it’s advantage to bring out a classic, mob-like feel within the visuals.

Another positive aspect is there isn’t much dialog going on in the music video, leaving the interpretation as to what is happening left up to the viewer verses being told what to think as the scenes move forward. Mike Nasty clearly leaves no part of the artistic experience up to chance. From the direction of photography, to costumes, props, color scheme, and more, the video immerses those who take the time to watch it and does it’s due-diligence to make a great impression. The video was directed by Mike Nasty himself.

Keep an eye on Mike Nasty and the album he will be release soon.
