Modapit Shares Debut Album In Defining ‘Devotion’

Modapit, the underground electronic-pop producer, has made a remarkable foray into the music scene, releasing his debut album, “Devotion.” The album, featuring 12 tracks, is a compelling blend of dark pop sounds with European-inspired melodic house and techno. It aims to establish Modapit’s identity in the dance music scene and offers an introspective view into his unique style and approach.

Over the past six months, Modapit has released four singles, each of which has been accompanied by a meticulously crafted short film directed by David Borges. These singles, which encapsulate Modapit’s ability to weave complex narratives into his music, highlight the thematic focus on trauma and healing.

The album is more than a collection of tracks; it is a seamless journey that transports listeners into a different realm. The album’s visual aesthetic, defined as a gothic funeral-rave style, complements the euphoric pop structures infused with diverse electronic music genres.

From “Devotion” to “It Goes Like,” there’s so much to break down here and so much diversity afoot. Some moments light, some moments dark, but it all fits together.

In addition to his debut album, Modapit has made a significant impact in live performances. He has played direct support for Deadmau5 and debuted at EDC Las Vegas 2023. He is also lined up for the Imagine Music Festival and Freaky Deaky.
