Monstercat Partners With Fortnite’s New Joy Ride Update For In-Car ‘Radio Yonder’ Playlist

Monstercat continue to prove themselves as the sound-track of gamers around the globe. Fortnite is switching things up with a huge themed update in the middle of the season and the Canadian based label revealed they have landed a key spot in the new update called Joy Ride. The new update brings cars to Chapter 2’s island, it is notably the very first time cars have ever been drivable in Fortnite.

For those familar with games like Grand Theft Auto, the in game radio stations have become a much anticipated feature in each addition and now Fortnite is joining on the fun. Now you can hear a selection of Monstercat favourites within Fortnite in much the same way. The new collaboration follows their previous partnerships with Roblox and Rocket League.

The playlist for the in-car radio in the battle royale mode features 20 songs, among them releases from Dion Timmer, Dirtyphonics, Sullivan King, Koven, Throttle, Slushii, Pegboard Nerds, Habstrakt and Bad Computer. In addition to Radio Yonder, there are three other stations available on the new update called ‘Party Royale’, ‘Beat Box’ and ‘Power Play’.
