Mt. Sierra Reveals 2nd Track Of The Year ‘When It Rains’ As EP Release Date Approaches

“When It Rains,” gives a deeper view of the energy that Mt. Sierra is bringing to the table. It’s clear that he’s into the genre of house, yet “When it Rains,” proves he has a more powerful, upbeat side compared to the first teaser off his upcoming EP, title track ‘Mt. Joel.’

Shuddering synthwork, unique vocals with a glitchy-robotic edge, and spirted percussion aspects all come into play to drive forward the theme of the track. The drop comes forth with a message to be heard:

‘Lock your windows and lock your doors / When it rains, it pours’

The entirety of the experience is hypnotic and not easily looked-over, it clearly taking diligence and craftmanship to achieve the level of quality we hear today.

Mt. Sierra is currently LA based but was raised in El Paso, Texas. A DJ/producer, he embraces the genres of progressive, deep, & tech house music to form the originals we hear today. His former alias Matt Yo helped him explore electronic vastly and develop into the artist he is today. His keen way of pairing up feel-good basslines, moving vocals, and so much more into one track is one of many highlightable attributes as an artist.

Keep an eye on this Icon Collective artist as he continues to lay more goodies out for the world to enjoy.
