New Dance Sounds: Oliver Heldens, Mesto, Jauz + More

2020 is in full swing with a magnitude of releases this week. From Oliver Heldens to Marcus Santoro, the releases span multiple genres. Take a listen below to see what you may have missed out on!

Oliver Heldens & Mesto – The G.O.A.T. [Heldeep]

Two of the best Future House producers have come together for the first time for ‘The G.O.A.T.’. The debut collab between the Dutchmen has been released after the first recorded play being 9 months ago.

Marcus Santoro feat. Lauren L’aimant -Blackout [Protocol]

Marcus Santoro has been killing it recently, releasing on Armada, Axtone and Protocol. He continues the trend with ‘Blackout’, a brilliant vocal infused groove production. Marcus has created an incredible melody throughout this release, something he has grown accustomed to of late.

Gareth Emery & NASH feat. Linney – Yesterday [Garuda]

After teasing his new album in November, ‘Yesterday’ is likely to be included. Linney’s vocals create a perfect trance ambiance which resonates with the calming production. This is peak Gareth Emery trance and we love it.

Jauz & TYNAN – Bring Em Back [Bite This!]

Jauz is set to release his ‘Dangerous Waters’ EP next week. In the mean time he’s provided a tease with ‘Bring Em Back’, his collab with TYNAN. With an accompanying tour following the EP release, it all kicks off for him next week!

Chocolate Puma & Firebeatz – Soul Fifty [Spinnin’]

Listening to this record, it’s evident Chocolate Puma were the leaders of this collaboration, with their signature house sounds felt all through ‘Soul Fifty’. This is the third partnership between Chocolate Puma and Firebeatz, and likely the best!

Oliver Smith – Warehouse [Anjunabeats]

Oliver Smith kicks off the year with ‘Warehouse’ on familiar label Anjuna. With striking trance melodies and progressing sounds, this is another solid trance record from the English talent.

Zen/it – Memento [Doorn]

Just over a year after Lush & Simon called it quits, one half of the duo has been putting out some quality electronic house releases under Zen/it. ‘Memento’ is the latest of said tracks and is one of the best from the Italian producer. With Zen/it’s fresh progressive and electronic melodies, it makes for a great listening experience.

Pascal Junior feat. Minelli – Done [Global]

UK based Romanian born producer Pascal Junior is back in 2020 with ‘Done’. The house track is a perfect example of what’s to come this year. Stunning vocals from Minelli pave the way for Pascal Junior’s simple yet effective production.

Ryos feat. Arjay Dang – Catching Fire [Revealed]

Ryos is back on Revealed, this time teaming up with up and coming tandem producers Arjay Dang. Ryos spins his amazing melodic progressive house sound into an energetic almost bouncey drop that will really get you on your feet.

Kriss Reeve – Free [ZERO COOL]

Kriss Reeve is back with a new future house release. ‘Free’ is his debut on MOTi’s ‘ZERO COOL’. The record is a combination between future house and a more deeper tech/deep house flow!

Anzano feat. Hayes – Thinking Too Much [Teamwrk]

Anzano and Hayes bring their Dutch flavoured dance/pop to Teamwrk. ‘Thinking Too Much’ carries a catchy and warm sound complemented by the soothing vocals of Hayes. Great potential in this one, both through commercial and dance avenues.
